I Lived in a Haunted House for a Month—Here’s What Happened!

In trying to understand what had occurred, I started researching the scientific explanations behind such paranormal activities. Of course, there were several quite plausible theories that did not involve supernatural activity; these made sense for all intents and purposes in my mind.

There is one very common theory: it is infrasound, sound waves having such low frequencies that they are hardly perceivable but might create shock and discomfort in the body. These waves can be produced by winds, large appliances, or even faulty plumbing. They would cause vibrations that could explain why I sometimes felt cold spots or tapping noises. Infrasound has also been connected with feelings of dread, unease, and hallucinations-all of which I felt during my time.
